With celebrity quizmasters Connor Swindells, Sian Gibson, Pamela Ballantine, Public Service Broadcasting, Jim Rosenthal, and Sean Fletcher, the Quizmas Challenge will be a great evening for everyone to enjoy. 

As well as testing your knowledge and having lots of fun, we’ll be raising money to fund life-saving research into the causes and treatment of bowel cancer. You can play by yourself, in a team with friends or family, or involve your work colleagues and have teams competing against each other.

Meet our celebrity quizmasters

Connor Swindells

Connor Swindells is an actor who is best known for playing Adam Groff in Netflix's Sex Education, and also recently appeared in the BBC drama Vigil. He decided to support the charity and become a patron as his mum passed away from bowel cancer when he was a child.

Sian Gibson

Sian Gibson starred in and co-wrote Peter Kay's Car Share, for which she won the 2016 BAFTA TV award for best scripted comedy. Sian started supporting the charity in 2021 after bowel cancer affected her family.

Sean Fletcher

Sean Fletcher is a Good Morning Britain and Countryfile presenter who made his acting debut earlier this year in the Welsh drama, Keeping Faith.

Sean's mum died of bowel cancer when she was just 54 years old and he has been an active supporter and patron of the charity since 2015.

Jim Rosenthal

Jim Rosenthal is a broadcaster and commentator who has covered eight FIFA World Cups, two Olympic Games, 150 Formula One races and seven Rugby World Cups including hosting England's famous win in Sydney in 2003.

Jim has supported the charity many times over the years including a number of our fundraising campaigns. His late father in law and several friends have been affected by bowel cancer.

Pamela Ballantine

Pamela Ballantine is known to many people in Northern Ireland through her role as a UTV presenter and reporter. In a career in the media spanning over 40 years she currently presents a weekly evening magazine chat show called UTVLife and, as one of her hobbies is horse racing, she also mixes business with pleasure by working at Northern Ireland's two racecourses.

Pamela became a patron after she lost four friends and a family member to bowel cancer.

Public Service Broadcasting

Public Service Broadcasting are a London-based band whose mainly instrumental music is sampled from old public information films, archive footage and propaganda materials. PSB have been supporting the charity since their guitarist and songwriter J. Willgoose, Esq's wife was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer in 2015.
