Beating bowel cancer together

Organise your own Walk Together event

If you can’t attend one of our organised events, you can set up your own special walk in your local area.

By organising your own, you’ll be joining hundreds of other people across Walk Together month to show your support for those undergoing treatment, remember loved ones and help stop people dying of bowel cancer.

Organising your own walk is really easy! You can Walk Together with friends, family and colleagues, or invite your local community to join you.

Our fundraising team will be on hand to support you, and you can sign up for free and receive a welcome pack. This is full of handy tips and guidance on how to set up your walk, including an event checklist, fitness plan, welcome speech and warm up, plus lots of fundraising tips.

If you have any questions, please get in contact with us on community@bowelcanceruk.org.uk or 020 7940 1769.

"It felt really good to organise the walk. I kept it to close family and friends, and it was a fairly big group! Although our walk was full of positivity it still very much struck an emotional chord with us all" - Gaye
