Thank you so much for signing up to take part in Step up for 30, we hope you are looking forward to the challenge.
We’ll be sending out your Step up for 30 pack in May including lots of inspiration for your daily exercise or activity, a calendar for you to track your progress and some sponsor forms for any offline donations you might receive. To get your fundraising started we suggest you create a Just Giving page today.
Top tips for your online fundraising page
Add your story
This will help people understand why you’re passionate about raising money for us. It’s your chance to really connect with people and share your story. People will donate more if they know the reason why you’re fundraising.
Add a photo
This will bring your page to life, making it more personal and helping it to stand out. Why not use a picture of you in full exercise mode? If you’re doing the event in aid of a loved one then you could use a picture of the two of you together.
Add a target
Pages with targets raise 46% more than those that don’t. Be brave and let everyone know you’re aiming high.
Share your journey
We know a 30 day challenge is a big commitment and we want you to shout about it. Post about your daily activity on your social media platforms to let your family and friends know how dedicated you are.
Share your motivation
We’d love to hear your reason for taking on this challenge. Share a post on Facebook or tweet us saying why you’re Stepping up for 30. Don’t forget to tag @bowelcanceruk in the post and we’ll do our best to retweet it.
We are here to support you every step of the way so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the fundraising team.
