Ride Together FAQs
What is Ride Together?
Even though RideLondon 100 was cancelled in August we’re still challenging you to cycle 100 miles either in a day or over the month to support our work.
Are there any registration fees?
No – it’s free to take part!
Is there a fundraising target?
No –just raise as much as you can. Now, more than ever, your fundraising is needed. Like so many charities, the coronavirus pandemic is affecting us badly, with an expected drop in income of around 40% this year. The money you raise and the awareness you spread is so important. It will help us fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease, and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
How do I fundraise?
Please set up a JustGiving page to fundraise. All income raised on here will be transferred directly to us. We will also provide fundraising tips and support throughout your journey. We ask you to get any final donations over to us within a month of completing your challenge.
How do I plan my route?
There are lots of free websites and apps which can help you find and plan your ride. You’ll be sent further information after registering.
How do I record my miles?
There are lots of fitness apps out there like Strava to help you keep track of your miles
Can it be indoors?
You can cycle on an indoor bike or in the great outdoors. Please make sure you keep to government guidelines on exercising outdoors.
