Brew Together at home
In these difficult times we're facing, you can still come together with your friends, family or even colleagues in a less traditional way. Host your own Brew Together at home event by grabbing your phone, iPad or laptop, and having your tea party via video link. Just invite your loved ones to join you and make a donation.
Here are some tips to get you started.
Online ‘Venue’
There are lots of possibilities for hosting your online gathering – Skype, FaceTime, Facebook, Zoom, Teams, Whatsapp, House Party and more.
All these options offer you the possibility to video call your loved ones and set up a group for your virtual tea party, so just pick your venue and send out an invitation to your virtual event. When you’re ready for your tea party, you can settle in your comfy chair with a cuppa and catch up with everyone.
If you need help with any of the online platforms, just get in touch at community@bowelcanceruk.org.uk.
Raising money
The money raised from your Brew Together event will help fund vital services and lifesaving research to help stop people dying of bowel cancer.
Set up a Just Giving page and share it with your virtual tea party guests or simply donate on our website using the reference ‘virtual tea party’.
