Help us to stop bowel cancer

International Support

John’s story

John clean shaven has a brother Charlie in Australia who has sported a very fetching moustache for 40 years. Charlie was given the all clear from bowel cancer on 1 December 2016 and to show his support John took part in Movember, so they made a deal, Charlie would shave his off and John along with Charlie’s three sons-in-laws and nephew-in-law would grow their own, they raised 2000 Australian dollars and John raised £310 for us.

Beverley’s story

Beverley shared some international love to Bowel Cancer Australia by taking on the challenge of dyeing her hair different colours for 5 weeks, before then finally shaving it all off in memory of her dearest and special friend Troy who lives in Australia. Beverley was sponsored by friends and family and work colleagues raising a wonderful £1,771. £1000 was donated to Bowel Cancer Australia, £500 to Bowel Cancer UK and £200 to Karuna, a Charity who helped Troy in Australia
