Position: Senior Online Communities Officer
Reporting to: Peer Support Manager
Salary: £29,000 per annum (plus London weighting if applicable)
Location: Homebased across UK
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
We're looking for a Senior Online Communities Officer to help us grow and develop our digital peer support communities. Working with our community members and our brilliant volunteers, you'll play a key role in helping us to reach and support more people affected by bowel cancer.
If you've previously moderated or supported an online community or have a background in providing digital support, then this could be the role for you. You'll lead on growing and supporting a range of online communities, making them the go-to place for online bowel cancer support in the UK. In return you'll join our brilliant team, be able to work flexibly and finish each day knowing you have played a central role in supporting people affected by bowel cancer.
