Position: Scotland and Northern Ireland Fundraising Manager – one year fixed term contract
Reporting to: Head of Public Fundraising
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Homebased in either Scotland or Northern Ireland
Bowel Cancer UK is the UK's leading bowel cancer charity. We're determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer. We support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
This role is an exciting opportunity to manage fundraising across Scotland and Northern Ireland. You’ll support local fundraisers, with a particular focus on high-value relationships with individuals, local corporates, and community groups. Developing and implementing stewardship plans that engage supporters will be one of your strengths, and you’ll be someone who always looks for opportunities to build and deepen relationships.
You’ll also be a strategic thinker who can analyse existing activity and create long-term plans. Keeping accurate records will be key to reporting on results and forecasting income and expenditure.
Working closely with the Public Fundraising team, you’ll ensure that our fundraising products are promoted across both nations and that every supporter receives excellent supporter care. You’ll be a part of a team who are exceeding targets, and are motivated to make a difference to everyone affected by bowel cancer.
