Bowel cancer remains the UK’s second biggest cancer killer even though it is preventable, treatable and curable. Through our policy and campaigns work we are determined to change that by improving early diagnosis of the disease and access to best treatment and care.
As Policy Manager, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive and robust policy strategy, drafting fully researched evidence-based policy positions, taking advantage of new opportunities to promote our policy agenda and build our profile and relationships with stakeholders. You will be developing policy across our key campaigns including our flagship, Never too Young campaign and Get Personal.
You'll work closely with the Head of Policy and Campaigns and have a leadership role within the team, with scope to line manage a member of staff.
You will be an experienced policy professional with a good understanding of the current policy landscape and a detailed, evidence-based approach to developing policy. A strategic thinker, you will bring a pro-active, creative and dynamic approach to policy work and use your ability to analyse, interpret and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data to produce persuasive and engaging policy documents.
