Marketing and Communications Assistant

Bowel Cancer UK, the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity, is looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Assistant to provide support across the Marketing and Communications team. 
 
The role is an opportunity to gain lots of hands-on experience and be involved in a range of interesting and varied projects across all communication channels. 
 
You will also play a key role managing our creative projects from design through to production and liaising with suppliers. 
 
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in the UK. However it shouldn’t be because it is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer. 
 
We support and enable research, educate patients, public and professionals about bowel cancer and campaign for early diagnosis and best treatment and care for all those affected.
 
The Marketing and Communications Assistant is a new, important role assisting and supporting the busy Marketing and Communications team in a number of ways including maintaining the organisations image library, assisting the Senior Press Officer with tasks related to media relations, PR and celebrity engagement, supporting internal communications and assisting with the development of content for digital communication channels.
