Position: Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy – permanent, full time
Reporting to: Director of Fundraising
Salary: £48,000-£50,000 per annum (plus London weighting if applicable)
Location: Home-based across UK (with travel to London office and UK-wide travel as required)
We're the leading bowel cancer charity in the UK, committed to saving lives and improving the quality of life for everyone affected by bowel cancer. Our mission involves supporting targeted research, providing expert information and patient support, educating the public and professionals, and advocating for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care. Currently, our team comprises around 90 staff located in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
The Partnerships and Philanthropy team has experienced two record-breaking years and has nearly doubled in size. With our bold new strategy (On a Mission), an inspiring cause, and an increasing profile, now is an excellent time to join our charity.
We're looking for an experienced high-value fundraiser to continue the growth of corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations and drive the charity’s major donor income streams. The post holder will be creative, ambitious and a natural networker, skilled in unlocking new business opportunities and securing transformational five and six-figure gifts.
As Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy, you'll play an active role in the Fundraising Leadership Team and be responsible for the continued growth and development of the charity’s fundraising income from corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations. You'll play a key role in developing a new major donor programme.
Your focus will be identifying, initiating, and fostering positive relationships with our valued and varied funders to develop some of our most vital income streams.
