Community & Events Fundraising Officer (Scotland)
We are the UK’s leading bowel cancer research charity. We are determined to save lives and improve the quality of life for all those affected by bowel cancer. We support and enable research, educate patients, public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to the best treatment and care.
As Community & Events Fundraising Officer (Scotland), you will be responsible for providing first class support to our incredible community fundraisers across Scotland. Working closely with the Scotland Fundraising Manager, you will project manage a number of key events throughout the year; recruiting new and existing supporters, encouraging them in their fundraising and ensuring the smooth running of our growing portfolio of exciting flagship events. You will also help to place fundraising stories in the media and help raise our profile in local communities.
You will already have some fundraising knowledge experience with the ability to recruit and motivate supporters. You will have excellent people skills and be able to manage a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. You will also be a great team player, able to contribute ideas and collaborate with others.
Most importantly, you will have the desire to succeed and make a difference to the lives of people affected by bowel cancer.
