How your school can get involved
Bowel Cancer UK is a small charity greatly relying on the
support of schools like yours.
There are plenty of ways that your school can help Bowel Cancer
UK. Whether you hold your own fundraising event or select us as
your charity of the year partner, we've got lots of ideas to help
you.
Fundraising at your school is a great way of engaging students
while giving them the chance to learn new skills, mix with other
classes and year groups, while supporting us.
There's so much your school could help us achieve, as an
example:-
£100 covers the distribution of awareness posters to health
centres and surgeries.
£350 will print a month's supply of our vital Good Bowel Health
booklets, outlining the simple steps people can take to reduce
their cancer risk.
£500 pays for one of our specialist nurses to provide free
information and support to 20 patients and their carers via the
phone and e-mail. This free service helps over 4,000 people every
year.
We'll support your school all the way with fundraising packs and
lots of ideas to and materials including certificates to thank you
for all your hard work.
