Head of Community & Events Fundraising vacancy
Salary c. 40K plus contributory pension scheme and generous
holiday allowance

The Head of Community and Events fundraising is a new, central
and strategically important position within the charity. The
main purpose of the role is to lead the strategy and team to
maximise fundraising income from community and events
fundraising. Specifically the postholder will be responsible
for:
- developing and implementing plans to cultivate relationships
with key individuals to maximise their potential for the
charity
- sustaining and increasing income from individuals through
participation in third party organised events e.g. the London
Marathon and Bowel Cancer UK's own events.
- leading on maintaining and developing income from individuals
and community groups e.g. faith groups, Rotary Clubs, Schools
etc.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of
community and events fundraising, strategy development and of
managing a team. They will also have gravitas and credibility
with excellent relationship building and communication
skills.
